Cabin Update

This past weekend, got a lot of site clean up done. Four truckloads of big debris to the dump and four hefty bags of smaller stuff. I really appreciate all the workers up there who ate their lunch and then just dropped the trash where they stood. Not to mention the mounds and mounds of styrofoam. I'm not even sure what was packed with the styrofoam; I just know that we'll be finding tiny chunks and beads of that non-biodegradable crap for the rest of our lives.

Steve also worked on the prep for the tile floor. First he rolled out tacky primer, then mixed and spread a layer of thinset, then applied the cut-to-fit easymat on top of that, then rolled it together with a 100 lb. roller. Our tile guy starts this Saturday.

So much work still to do. So little time to do it. But definitely enough time to enjoy a beautiful mountain sunrise.
