I love the comics section of the newspaper, or "The Funnies" as we called it when I was a kid. It's one of the main reasons I subscribe. All newspapers are online nowadays, but you can't get the comics in the ones that I read, which would mean reading each strip individually at different websites. The Charlotte Observer carries Pearls Before Swine, by Stephan Pastis, which is one of my favorites. I think being a cartoonist would be a tough job. Aside from the art skill required, it just seems like it would be hard to come up with an idea for that many strips without being boring or repetitive.
